Publishing your first LiveCV
This page takes you from private career data to a finished LiveCV. Follow all four steps or return to the stage you are working on.
LiveCV is your tailored CV in OpenCiVera. Prepare it privately from your Experience Base, then publish it as a browser page, share its link or download a PDF/ATS copy.
Before you start
Sign in and gather your contact details, career history and target job description. You do not need YAML knowledge: use the Form for everyday editing.
Four steps
- Build your Experience Base: save your complete, private career record.
- Tailor a version for a role: select entries, a template and color, then check the preview.
- Publish and share: choose public languages and get a shareable link.
- Download PDF or ATS: review the file before sending it.
If you need another language
After saving your Experience Base, you can add a language version. Complete it before publishing. The documentation language and LiveCV content language are independent.
What stays private?
Your Experience Base is private. A LiveCV version contains content selected from it. Publishing makes that selection available under a public link. Editing the Experience Base does not automatically update the public page or exports: publish the LiveCV again to replace them.
When you return
Import data or make a backup, review revision history or resolve a saving problem. Every topic is also available in the documentation hub.
